淮河山谷水库的调查及其养鱼的利用

PISCICULTURAL POSSIBILITIES FOR RESERVOIRS UPON THE HEADWATERS OF HWAI RIVER

  • 摘要: 在毛主席“一定要把淮河修好”的英明指示下,淮河上游的山谷水库相继兴修,其中有些已全部完成,并在今年淮河防汎斗争中发挥了应有的作用。水库除了用来拦蓄山洪以外,还可以多样地加以利用,养鱼就是其中之一。

     

    Abstract: Three reservoirs are subject to this investigation:Pan-chao,Shek- man-tan and Pai-sha,all located in Honan Province,China.The fish fauna and plankton condition therein,together with some chemical and hydrographical features relevant to fishery management,are described. Measures are suggested for utilizing these reservoirs to increase fish yield.Instead of relying on fish population naturally present in these reservoirs,the authors recommend the stocking of yearlings of the plank-ton feeder,Aristichthys nobilis (Rich.),supplemented in small measure by other species of cultivation.Prospective productivity is tentatively estimated at 150 kg per hectare for Pan-chao Reservoir,and 280 kg per hectare for Pai-sha Reservoir.
