Abstract:
Hematology, Blood biochemical characteristics electrophoretograms of hemoglobin and serum protein of black finless porpoises from the Changjiang river were investigated. The percentages of granulocytes of neutrophils and lymphocytes are high. There are basophils on blood smears. Hemoglobin of black finless porpoises belongs to Hb type Ⅰ—Ⅱ, having the relative mobility rate of Hb between human Hb S and Hb F, with 4 bands of non-hem protein(NHP). By electrophoresis on cellulose acetate membrane, serum total protein(Tp)of the animal can be divided into 8 bands. From positive pole to negative pole, they are pre-albunin(ζ), albumin(∧)and 6 post-albumin(PA). By polyacrylamide gel, Tp presents 16 bands, among which lipoprotein has 4 bands: α1-Lp, α2-Lp, β-Lp band corresponding to PA 9, PA 10 and PA 11 respectively; pre-β-Lp and chylomicron are at the origin. Teansferrin presents one band, corresponding to PA 6.
