AQUATIC COMMUNITIES OF BRYOPHYTES ASSOCIATED WITH KARST WATERFALLS IN ENGLAND

  • 摘要: 喀斯特( Karst) 是指在可溶性碳酸盐岩( 主要石灰岩和白云岩)上发育并演化而形成的独特地貌类型。世界喀斯特面积约2200万km2, 约占全球陆地总面积的15%。喀斯特瀑布因具有高浓度的离子、高冲击力的水流和迅速的淡水碳酸钙沉积而成为一般高等植物难以生存的一类特殊生境。而水生苔藓植物群落由于长期适应和进化的结果,是喀斯特瀑布生态系统最重要高等植物群落代表类群之一。
