Abstract: The present paper embodies the results of studies on the Sporozoa from 160 individuals of Ophio-erphalus maculatta (Lacépedè) from Nanhoai and Koyiu, Kwangtung (95 fish), and of O. argus Cantor, from Wuchang, Hupeh (65 fish). A total of 22 species, and one new genus (Myxos- poridia) are described. Among these only 6 species were known previously: Chloromyxum exterum Davis, Myxobolus oblongus Gurley, M. dispar Thelohan, M. mesentericus Kudo, M. mutabilis Kudo, and Glugea hertwigi Weissenberg. The remaining 16 species are new to science and their diagnoses are summarized below.
