Abstract: In the previous paper, we have shown that the nitrogen-fixing blue-green algae Anabaena azotica Ley (HB 686) and A. azotica f. a (HB 678) may be a biological nitrogen source for the rice crop both in pot culture and paddy field tests in 1958.
