  • A new specie of Gyrodactylus from Coreius heterodon of freshwater fishes in the Yangtze valley is identified.All the measurements used in the decriptions of new species are in millimeter.Type specimens are deposited in the Laboratory of Fish Diseases, Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan.
