Abstract
This thesis described the relationship of organelles in the oocyte withvitellogenesis in Macrobrachium rosenbergii. A large quanhhes of particles from thenucleolus may pass through the nuclear pores into the ooplasm and then form theribosomes, some of which adhere to the membrane to form the rough endoplasmicreticulum (RER). The RER was shown to have funchons of synthesizing andtransmitting yolk materials. A lot of free ribosomes exsiting in cytoplasm provide theplaces for protein synthesizing, and thus form yolk bodies by aggregation and fusionof these proteinous particles. Some mitochondria take part in the production of anddirectly developed into yolk granules. Lysosomes and microfilaments are also involvedin the formation of yolk grannles.
