  • 170 healthy turtles about 150g were randomly divided into 17 groups (ind).Using dietary protein and energy contents as factors, this experiment was conducted with six-teen-group turtles fed nine kinds of diets determined by the two-factor, fire level orthogonal rotary modular design. After 60 days feeding experiment, results were as followed: the ninth diet and the tenth to sixteenth diet had the highest daily weight gain (2.22g/d) ; the retention of GE, CP, EE, AA were 36.27%, 56.48%, 55.06% and 43.66% .The results obtained suggested that the relationship between the nutrient retention and diet nutrient levels was significant, the nutrient level and formula of the ninth diet was the optimum diet for the growth turtles.
