SPECIES COMPOSITION OF ALGAE AND THE RELATIONSHIP WITH FERTILITY OF SOILS IN THE MIDDLE REACH OF YELLOW RIVER, CHINA

The composition, distribution, nutritional requirement of soil algae were studied in Feng-qiu Agricultural Experiment Station of CAS.56 species of soil algae were identified, of which 33 species were isolated and purified.Species diversity was consistent with the soil nutritional richness.The same species had different nutritional requirement at different time.These results may shed light on the mechanism of the variance of community composition in soil.
