    Abstract
  • Studies show that aeeunmlation factor of Scenedesmus oiliquus and Moina was 213 and 32 (wet weight), respectively. Dead bodies of organisms also accumulated BHC. The concentration of BHC in organisms was dependent on both the concentration of BHC in water and the biomass of algae and zooplankton. These organisms play an important role in the transport of BHC from water to bottom sediments.
