  • A female Lipotes named Zhen Zhen was successfully 'introduced'to a male dolphin named Qi Qi who had been kept in captivity for over six years. After rearing them together for nearly two years, the relations between the male and female dolphins were very harmonious. In this study, the behavioral relationship between different individuals was carefully examined and studied, especially the sexual behavior and The possible way of reproduction of Lipotes in captivity is discussed.
