OBSERVATIONS ON CHROMOSOMES OF FOUR BUCEPHALIDS SPECIES (DIGENEA)

Chromosomes of four bucephalid species, Pseudorhipidocotyle elopichthys Long et Lee,1964; Bucephalopsis Wui Long et Lee, 1964, B. hupehensis Wang et Pan,1964 and Dollfustrema vaneyi (Tseng, 1930) Eckmann, 1934 were observed. Their karyotypes are as follows : n = 4m + 1st + 2t = 6, n = 4m + 2sm + 1t = 7, n = 7m = 7 and n = 6m + 1sm = 7, respectively. Chromosomes and karyotypes of P. elopichthys, B.wui and B. hupehensis were reported for the first time.
