Abstract
Under the controllable indoor conditions, Silurus asotus were disposed with the starvation of 7d, 14d and 21d respectively1After that, each group was resumed to refeed for 20 days1Then the effects of starvation and refeeding on the physiological and bio2chemical of the blood of S ilurus asotus were studied in this experiment1Results were revealed as following:The numbers of the red cells increased after starvation in 14d and then decreased ( p > 0105) after starvation for 21d1The hemoglobin content increased significantly ( p 0105) after starvationfor 21d1The serum glucose levels decreased sharply ( p +and Cl-decreased significantly ( p + increased significantly ( p -increased again ( p > 0105).The concentrations of Ca2+decreased significantly ( p + concentrations and AKP activity1After re2feeding for 20d, the blood indices all recovered at different levels.Regressionsare developed to simulate the relationship between starvation time and each parameter that the highest coefficients of determination for all parameters are on cube regression equation, amongwhich the coefficients of determination of the concentrationsof Ca2+ are the highest, 01964.The Ca2+ concentrationsmay be the starvation indices for assessment of their easy detection.
