Abstract
The principal parmeters of population growth of Moina macrocopa were studied by establishing the life table at 25 ±1℃ and under three kinds of food and four concentrations of seawater salinities. The intrinsic rate of increase (rm) showed no difference in freshwater- 4‰ and at three kinds of food. The net reproductive rate (R0) was the highest when fed with Chlorella (average 56.18ind.), and the generation time (T) was the longest when fed with yeast (average 5.38d).The lethal upper salinity limit of reproduction was 6‰ and after short-term acclimation, was 9-10‰.
