Abstract

Biological investigation was made on Cyprinus capio with reference to age and growth, spawning habit, intestinal contents, obeseness and embryonic development. Growth rates for either sex of the carp from the yearlings to the 5 years old individuals are given. One fenale which 9 annual-rings on her scale attained a body-length of 81 cm; total weight with 12.8 kg.
