Abstract
The relationship between sound transmission, signal type, signal parameter and environmental adaptation of Lipotes vexillifer in captivity was preliminarily studied. In response to changes in the environment or other conditions, the signal type, signal transmission frequency, etc. change in a regular way. The degree of adaptation to the environment, sexual period status of Lipotes vexillifer can be judged according to the patterns of these changes. This information has provided a scientific basis for the rearing, conservation and research on the sonar system of Lipotes vexillifer.
