  • The characteristics of daily catch of Chinese dritten crab, Eriocheir sinensis,from different water systems, stocked in Iakes at the middle reaches of Changjiang River, were studied in harvesting period during autumn and winter.The originated crabs from Panjing, Tianjin, Changjiang River, Oujiang River reached the peak of daily catch in the first ten- day of September, the second tenday of September, the first tenday of Octobef, and the period of October 19-November 17, respectively.The relationship between the latitude (Y) of water systems from which crah seedlings come and the time (X: day, the first day is August 28) of peak catch during harvesting period may be expressed as Y = 43.182 - 0.232X (n = 13, r = - 0.96).
